Where Kayenta Is
Kayenta is a community on the west side of Ivins, set in the red-rock foothills with views toward Snow Canyon and Red Mountain. Homes are known for desert-contemporary architecture and natural desert landscaping that blends into the terrain. Kayenta has its own homeowners association.
Kayenta Art Village
The heart of the community is the Kayenta Art Village around Coyote Gulch Court, open to the public, with galleries, studios, a café, and an art school. The Center for the Arts at Kayenta, at 881 Coyote Gulch Court, presents theater, music, dance, storytelling, lectures, and films, and the village hosts First Fridays every month and art festivals during the year. The outdoor space includes the Kayenta Desert Arboretum, focused on water-wise landscaping, and the Desert Rose Labyrinth, both free to visit.
Schools and Access
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and boundaries change as schools open and close. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district before you rely on it. Snow Canyon State Park and Tuacahn are a short drive east, and St. George shopping is reached via Ivins and Santa Clara.
