Where Dixie Springs Is
Dixie Springs is on the south side of Hurricane, just north of Sand Hollow State Park, with access from Sand Hollow Road. It is within Hurricane city limits.
Homes and Character
Dixie Springs has grown over several plats since the late 1990s, mostly with single-family homes on lots around a quarter acre. Many homes have oversized RV or boat garages, which suits owners who use Sand Hollow's reservoir and nearby dunes. The subdivision has CC&Rs and an architectural control committee. Dixie Heights, next door, is a separate community with its own HOA.
Recreation
Sand Hollow Reservoir offers boating and paddling, and the sand dunes to the south draw off-highway vehicle riders. Zion National Park is reached via SR-9.
Schools
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and Hurricane-area boundaries have shifted as new phases are built. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district before you rely on it.
