Where Green Springs Is
Green Springs (also written Green Spring) is on the west side of Washington City, north of I-15 around the Green Springs Drive interchange, a few miles from downtown St. George. It grew up mainly in the 1990s and 2000s around the city-owned Green Spring Golf Course at 588 N. Green Spring Drive.
Homes and Character
Green Springs is a collection of subdivisions rather than one master plan. Names you will see include Silverstone, La Jolla Hills, Westgate Hills, Lion's Head Hilltop Estates (gated), and Green Spring Heights, each with its own lot sizes and rules. Mature trees and settled landscaping are a big part of the appeal compared with newer subdivisions.
Recreation and Shopping
Besides the public golf course, residents are close to trailheads into the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve to the north. Grocery stores, restaurants, and big-box retail cluster around the Green Springs interchange, so many errands are a few minutes away.
Schools
Washington County School District assigns schools by address, and boundaries change as new schools open. Confirm the current elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school for a specific home with the district's boundary tool before you rely on it.
